Sometimes, you also find individuals with a slender body but chubby face. Similarly, you also find people with double chin. Admit it or not, having a chubby face is not desirable at all and it is very essential to lose face fat to look attractive. No doubt people are opting for cosmetic surgery, liposuction to get rid of fats in the face but these are also associated with various side effects besides being expensive. There are certain, easy ways to get rid of chubby cheeks or double chins in the form of some regular excercises.
All you have to do is devote some time and do these exercises besides maintaining a well balanced, healthy diet. Simple facial exercises can be used to not only help you lose fat from face but also to fight wrinkles and other unflattering skin issues. The exercises are quite simple.

Exercises to Reduce Chubby Cheeks
  • Exercise 1: Keep your lips closed. Suck both Cheeks inward. Hold for 5 seconds and release. Do this exercise by sucking in one cheek at a time. Repeat this 5-6 times.

  • Exercise 2:  Keep your mouth closed. Inflate both of your cheeks with air. Then move the air from one cheek to another. Keep doing this until you are out of breath and then blow the air out. Repeat four-five times.

  • Exercise 3: Keep your lips closed. Pucker your lips by using your cheek muscles. Hold your lips puckered for a few seconds and release.

  • Exercise 4: Gently smile and lift up the corners of your mouth. Keep your eyes neutral. Relax the other muscles of the face as you smile. Hold the smile for five to ten seconds. Try smiling with your teeth and without your teeth. After 1 minute or so, you will start to feel the burn in your cheeks. Repeat the process 5-6 times.
Exercises to Reduce Double Chin
  • Exercise 1: Rest your elbow on the table, close your fist and balance your chin on your closed fist. Slide your bottom lip over your top lip, press the tip of your tongue against the roof of your mouth and hold for 5 seconds increasing the pressure. Slowly release the pressure and slide your lip back over 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times.
  • Exercise 2 : Here is an old method for firming up a double chin. Using the back (top) of your hand, slap/tap the bottom of your chin rapidly yet firmly. Do this often, whenever you think of it.
  • Exercise 3: Lift your chin, open your mouth and look up. close your mouth and shift your jaw forward, hold for 10 seconds. Release slowly. Repeat 10 times.
  • Exercise 4: Chewing gum regularly can also reduce your chin.
Tips Before Starting Facial Execrises
Make a regular habit of doing the above facial execises. There is no specific time when you are required to do it but as long as you have time, make sure to do this repeatedly to make sure that the fat on your chin disappears in no more than a few months time. You can do these exercises any time of the day but is always better to set a routine. It is also recommended to apply some essential oil before doing face exercises. It helps to brighten skin tone and fight wrinkles besides promoting relaxation and concentration. Drink a glass of water prior to exercise so you will be well hydrated each time you carry out your routine. And yes, you need to folow a healthy diet and also do some other physical excercises like jogging, walking, yoga, aerobics so as to lose your body fat as a whole.
